Do you really like the elegant movement on running tracks? Know that in Teschen Beskids there are more than 100 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails suitable for all ages, and sports groups, including parents with children ready for you. And, if that was not enough for you there is prepared for you a lighted cross-country circuit in the ski resort of Mosty u Jablunkova.

Gírová Trail is flawless The starting point for the recommended trip is Jablunkov. From the bus stop Jablunkov-sanatorium we go by bus to Hrčava through Mosty. The bus takes us directly to Hrčava, it is not necessary to change buses, although according to the timetable two buses are involved. The best bus connection is aprox. at 11 a. m. An rarlier bus leaves at 7 a.m. Before greasing and fitting skies we recommend refreshments in Hrčava cozy pubs.
From Hrčava we follow the yellow tourist trail around a wooden church. The yellow trail leads to the Komorowski Grun, we pass the former border crossing Hrčava / Jaworzynka and we follow the yellow until we join the red tourist trail coming from the bottom of Bukovec and we follow the red to the Gírová. Occasional gradient is balanced by flat sections and sometimes we can even come across some downhill portions. We can have a break for lunch at the tourist cabin Gírová or Studeničné. We do not have to worry about the next pitch with a full belly, because we ride down the hill on forest paths and plains. We watch out not to miss turning left about 1 km from the cabin Studeničné onto the blue trail that takes us to the site "Jablunkov Pass" where we delight in magnificent views of the Slovak Little Fatra mountains with the impressive hill Rozsutec. Now there is an unmarked tourist trail along the forest road ahead of us to the ski area in Mosty. Here we recommend putting away the cross-country skis and going for a ride on the 600 m long bobsled. After entertainment and increased adrenaline in the body there is still the final 5 km long trail along the forest path and meadows ahead of us. The maintained running track will lead us to a gas station in Jablunkov, a few meters from the parking lot at the sanatorium. The route is suitable for all, including families with children and occasional skiers. For athletes we recommend to complete route in the opposite direction, or entirely skip the bus.
