Improving information services at GOTIC Mosty u Jablunkova

The aim of the project is to improve and develop the main tourist information point in Mosty u Jablunkova via the Gorol Information Centre. GOTIC runs its own website which has been restructured to incorporate databases and a foreign-language version.

The website will be further expanded as part of the project, as well as being automatically interconnected with the Těšín Beskydy regional server. GOTIC is a relatively new organization. Although it has built up a solid client base, it is still essential to improve the centre’s visibility, and so several PR press articles are being planned. In 2010, GOTIC will focus on meeting required standards for official information centres so that it will be able to use a registered trademark in the following year.

Project period: March 2010 – October 2010.

In 2010 the project was co-funded from the budget of the Moravian-Silesian Region via the project Support for Tourist Information Centres in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The Region contributed CZK 99 900; the total project costs are CZK 111 000.
