    The hills and mountains around Mosty u Jablunkova offer ideal conditions for trekking and mountain biking. There is a network of marked cycle paths leading up to the summits of local mountains, where chalets offer delicious refreshments.

Before you set out on the trips we have prepared for you

Before you set out on any of the listed trips around our region, spend some time in our municipality of Mosty u Jablunkova. It is the intersection for many hiking and cycle trails and you will have a pleasant time there.

The Gorol Tourist Information Centre is located in a newly reconstructed wooden building dating from 1790 just a short way behind the church in the centre of the municipality. The centre’s employees will be happy to welcome you and to give you all types of interesting information. This includes various types of promotional materials for tourists, guides and maps. The shop offers souvenirs with a regional theme. The wooden building also hosts exhibitions of folk crafts, artists and photographs all year round for lovers of folklore and tradition and there are also thematic exhibitions and fairs. Interesting activities include the local so-called Gorol Days where you can try traditional crafts under the supervision of experienced craftspeople. Before leaving the information centre, be sure to take a photo with the figurines in local Gorol folk costume. This unconventional photograph will remind you of the pleasant times spent in our town.
The mobile guidebook, which you can download to your telephone via Bluetooth for free at our information centre, is another aid which will help you during your travels through our region.
The local skiing area, which includes a number of attractions for younger and older visitors alike, is located about 500 m from the town centre along the red-marked trail. Many of these attractions are available all year round. In winter, the skiing area offers skiers and winter sports enthusiasts 3 lit, groomed downhill pistes, as well as a lit, groomed circuit of cross-country skiing trails, including trails in the vicinity of the town and trails which enable skiers to travel into the town’s environs.
