Quest Mosty u Jablunkova – Explore the history and find a treasure
The Gorol Tourist Information Centre in Mosty u Jablunkova together with the information centre from Istebna have created two questing games - the treasure hunts. One of them can be found in Mosty u Jablunkova, the second one in Istebna. They lead from one point of interest to another and to the hidden treasure!
Those who would like to undertake the hunt will receive a basic leaflet in the IC in Mosty u Jablunkova or can download it here on this website, and set off. They will pass the village and get to know the different places of interest. The questing route is not marked out in the field, the treasure hunters have to find it themselves based on information contained in the leaflet. To have more fun the text is in verse and includes different leads, puzzles and ciphers. The treasure hunters have to decipher them during their journey to get to a treasure.
The route can be completed successfully only by advanced seekers, puzzle- and task solvers! Solutions to the puzzles and tasks should be recorded into prepared boxes in the leaflet. Letters and numbers in colour boxes should be finally overwritten to the back side of the leaflet. In this way you get a PASSWORD and a CODE to find the treasure, little numbers will indicate a position.
Kindly be careful with the cases and stamps, do not destroy them, so that also others can enjoy searching for hiding places. Pick up one gift of the treasure leaving the rest for the other treasure hunters. Thank you, good luck and have fun!

The beginning of the route: Orientate yourself according to the church in the village centre. Stand facing the church and you will find the beginning 100 metres to the right: 49°31'39.761"N, 18°45'14.927"E

The free leaflet is available in the information centre in Mosty u Jablunkova. You can also download it and print it here:
